Flash Player Keeps Crashing in Firefox

Flash Player is constantly crashing, and some sites, it will not pull up at all. I just keep getting an error message that the Shockwave Player may be busy or not responding.

So far, I have removed and re-installed it. I have also checked to be sure it is fully activated and that I am using the newest version.

Does anyone know of a possible solution?

Switching to 64-bit Firefox is going to get you a *much* better experience with both Flash Player and Firefox (particularly if you're on Win8 or higher), provides additional security by virtue of the sparse address space, and better performance and stability from the native NPAPI plug-in sandbox.

You can download the 64-bit version of Firefox here:

Mozilla Firefox Web Browser — Download Firefox in your language — Mozilla

If you're still having problems after updating to the 64-bit Firefox version (the overwhelming majority of people who were experiencing persistent stability problems stop complaining after the update), actionable information, like steps to reproduce and links to the Firefox crash reports would be really helpful.  We'd be more than happy to take a look.

Adobe Flash & Shockwave Players are STILL crashing browsers even those which supposedly have their own built-in Flash players.  Guess Adobe really wants out of the Player business.  Too bad so many websites still utilize their products. I, like many others, have begun blocking those sites.

    5. Flash player not working,

When I go to a program that needs Flash player I get a message that the Flash cache is low.  Even though I have corrected this, it still doesn't work.  Even my Yo window screen saver does not work.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it does not work. I have noticed that Flash player does not even make to my list of programs.

Same here, only Youtube is working for me. I try to do Hulu or some other video sites and it is a black screen or it doesn't start when hit play. Speedtest doesn't even work... there is like no "screen" at all where there should be.

I'm having the same problem and tried all the recommended steps: verified version, activated, deleted cache and history, deselected enable hardware accelerater all with minimal improvement. Don't know what to do now.

I'm now able to view the video content that I couldn't before. It's been working the last two days. I waited to see if it would keep working. One additional thing I did before that was to use 'fix problems with windows update' in the control panel. I don't know if that's what did it.
