Flash Player keeps returning the message Cannot Connect when trying to view "movies" - in this case a broadcast of a lecture - and the screen space remains blank. On the Forum tips section here the space for the Adobe player is grey, with the page and the sad face. I have the latest version, and it is enabled. Any suggestions?

I have no idea if I am supposed to put this question here as well, or this is supposed to be an answer. I have found this experience to be as frustrating as trying to get the player to work!

I am in China, but I am running a VPN, which is giving me access to all things Google, and Facebook Messenger. Have not been able to access YouTube yet, but may need to choose a different purpose (for the VPN) for that.

This is what I am looking at on one page here - if I can paste it in!
