Flash Player -- latest install will not work on Firefox anymore

I installed the latest version from Adobe and works fine under Internet Explorer, but I use Firefox and once I open Firefox up, it loops and loops with an error msg of:

Unresponsive plugin, may be busy or stopped responding.  It loops and disappears.  Cannot get control over FIrefox.  I end up ending Flash in Tasks and can use Firefox.  Only way around having any issues with Firefox is to uninstall Flash completely.  Otherwise Firefox will not work for quite a while and then I can get control over it.

Never had this problem until I got a msg that updates are available.  Has anyone come across this and has a fix?

Thanks

Try grabbing the 64 bit verison of firefox first here:

Mozilla Firefox Web Browser — Download Firefox in your language — Mozilla

Then uninstalling your current version which there is a 99.99% chance it is 32 bit

    Install the 64 bit version.

I have found that the 64 bit version is much more stable and id 99% prone to those unresponsive flash scripts. the 32 bit version is not as stable

I think you will be pleased

    Best Regards

Operating system is Windows 10Web browser is FirefoxFlash version was the latest pulled down from Adobe

After I installed Flash Player, when I opened up Firefox, that attached error would be displayed, stay there for maybe 3-4 seconds, then disappear.  Then reappeared and looped like that.  Could not get control of Firefox unless I either ended Flash or Firefox.  This happened every time I opened Firefox after the Flash install.  I uninstalled Flash, repulled from Adobe and reinstalled.  Same results.  So, for now, Flash is no longer on my PC.

Thanks very much for your help
