For some reason certain sites won't load video's with flash player at all on my computer, where other sites with flash player will (I think sites that have an updated version required won't work). I am running the 12 version for chrome (it's enabled and i have done everything on this site to fix it

I really would like to not have to use my laptop every time i want to watch a movie. Any advice or help on things i can try?

I'm having the same issue with Win 8.1 and the newest version of FireFox it's really getting annoying that I can't play any of my games since the update. I've tried the same games on a differet (and newer) computer and the games still will not load after the latest flash player update. I've also tried playing them in Chrome and Safari and IE on the other computer and the games still will not load.

    Okey dokey...

Well, here's what we're up against.

    1. Some videos play while others don't. - Explanation: Sites like YouTube, DailyMotion, and most major News & Sports sites have converted video to HTML5 compliant format (MP4) which requires no plug-in.

    2. Chrome, IE and Firefox all have problems. - Situation: You're dealing with three different plugins. ActiveX (IE), Standard (Firefox), and PepperFlash (Chrome). ActiveX has components the other browsers can't and don't use. PepperFlash is a PPAPI plug-in (the other two are NPAPI), and... it's embedded in Chrome, and located in a separate folder on your Hard Drive. In addition, PepperFlash can't be updated from here.

If Videos are having problems in all three browsers, using three different, independent plug-ins... the problem is more likely than not, outside of the browsers and the Flash plug-ins.

It could be any of a number of things.

    - Firewall settings

    - A plug-in conflict (although not likely because there aren't many plug-ins that work for IE, Firefox AND Chrome)

    - Antivirus settings (blocking certain content or certain domains)

    - Hardware problems (Video or Network Adapter drivers, modem or router firmware)

Best I can recommend is a "clean install" of the ActiveX and Standard plug-ins, first. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4041846

Also, try creating another (admin) user account on the computer and install the browsers (Firefox & Chrome) as well as the Flash Player plug-ins under that account. If they work, you've probably got problems with your user account.
