Flash Player "Not Responding"

I have a Mac 10.11.6. I have tried several times to download Flash Player but when I try to go into the icon it it says "Not Responding". I have followed the instructions on the website by ensuring everything is enabled in Preferences > Security and still no results. I want to stream TV from my Comcast account and need this. Got ideas???

And if you have done all the steps in the link you provided and it still doesnt work.

What do you do then.

I have done a clean installation. Checked that flash player in enabled in the browser.

I haven´t had any problems with uninstalling or reinstalling flash.

And I have done all the steps several times and still I cant watch streams that´s shown with flash player.

I have same version of Mac OS as terir. Haven´t had any problems with flash in the past. But since I updated this time I can´t watch any live streams.
