Flash player not working

I have used flashplayer for a long time but suddenly today it wont work. When I visit a site with a video to play, for example, it says install flashplayer, but it is already installed.

I have uninstalled it & reinstalled. I have checked the obvious possible errors but cant get it working on any of my browsers.

I have a PC with windows 7.

When you go to the following Adobe site does it show that you have the latest version of Flash Player installed?

Thanks for the help but problem seems to be resolved now. I did a system restore & it now works again....very odd??
