    Hi,

What operating system, including version are you using?

You're posting to the Flash Player beta forum.  Are you using a beta build, or a non-beta build?  What is the version number of Flash Player you are using?

Because Flash Player installs successfully and works for a couple days, we know that the installation and the software is working correctly.  The bits on the disk don't just go bad, so we're looking at some kind of underlying problem.

Whenever I see symptoms like this, it generally falls into one of two categories:

    • The disk or filesystem is damaged, and our files are getting corrupted over time
    • There's a self-inflicted problem related to a third-party piece of software -- typically a smaller anti-virus / malware / security vendor's software is interfering with or deleting parts of the Flash Player distribution, or preventing it from running in the browser.

Since it takes a couple days to "go bad", my thought is that there's a good chance that hardware is in play, and it's pretty easy to rule out.

First things first, if your hard disk is dying already, it would be very wise to make a backup of any critical data.  Testing for and potentially repairing any problems with the disk will give it a workout, and if there's an underlying hardware problem already.  Disk recovery services are very expensive, and making a backup is cheap insurance.

At that point, check your hard disk for errors and repair any problems that are identified:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2641432

Then, do a fresh install of Flash Player:

    Uninstall Flash Player - Windows:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Then get a new copy from here:

    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

If the problem persists after that, actually power the computer completely down, let it sit for 15-30 seconds, and let it come back up again.  Does the problem go away for a couple days?  If so, it sounds like the hardware gets in a bad state somehow.  Letting the components fully power down clears the state, until you encounter the condition again.  Making sure you have all the latest firmware and drivers for your computer installed is the first course of action there, but again, this is stuff that's happening underneath us.
