Flash player not working at tv.adobe .com or BBC

iMac 2.66 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo

OS X 10.5.8

All browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome & Opera) I suddenly can't watch anything at Adobe TV (the screen just remains grey) or any videos at BBC.com (the spinning progress bar never stops).

Using Flash Player version 10.3.183.11

So I updated to Flash Player 11.(whatever the latest is) - no change. Last month I could watch these videos, now nothing.

Wiped all traces of Flash player, reinstalled 10.3.183.11 (which the download page states I should be using with my setup) tried again - nothing.

Any ideas?

Fixed it (found answer on another thread) - I had not allowed 3rd party sites to store info on my computer (seemed like a security no-no to me) but I guess Flash player needs to allow that sort of thing to work. If that's the case, why make it an option to begin with? This seems entirely poorly-thought out to me. Oh well.
