Flash Player not working for Microsoft Edge

When flash player is needed in Microsoft edge using Windows 10 ver 1511.  I first receive a warning that flash player needs to update and I should select the icon "Get Adobe flash player".  When I select the icon it tells me that flash player needs to be enabled but it is.  How can I fix this?  It just takes me in circles.

    I'm having the same problem.  I'm on Creators Edition of Win10.  In Edge > Settings > Advanced Adobe Flash is enabled.  But the Adobe Flash verification site says Flash is disabled in Edge and when I go to Flash sites they all report that Flash needs to be installed.

    I upgraded from Windows 8.1, which previously had been upgraded from Windows 8, and which had previously been upgraded from Windows 7.

    I have even done the most recent update for Windows 10, and the problem still persists with Edge.

    I can switch to Internet Explorer, but that runs really slow, or to another browser like Chrome or Firefox. They all work fine with Adobe Flash.

    I always go to the Advanced settings in Edge, and it always has Adobe Flash enabled.

    I even tried disabling it and then coming back and enabling it.

    Alas, no change.

    Hi,  thanks for that.  I have tried all the instructions to enable Flash Player in Edge, but none work.  Is there a registry setting that I could check?

    Click the 3 horizontal dots in the upper right corner, go to the bottom of that popdown menu, click settings , then the bottom of that next menu and choose advanced settings. It is the third switch 'use adobe flash player'

    That should enable it

    Thank you.  I took that step previously and it is already "on".  Turning it back off and back on does not change anything.
