Flash player not working in edge, but works in chome???

Help, I use edge for everything, but ever since the stupid required windows update my flash player will only work in chrome.

I have enabled it in edge and it says it's working, but it lies! I have restarted my computer about 50 times....and that obviously doesn't work either. And apparently you can't chat with anyone if you do not pay. So any suggestions? Oh and I did something to troubleshoot and it showed that I have the flash player and that it is working, but it says with chrome browser. So, I'm thinking that is my problem, but I don't know how to fix it. Oh and I selected always allow after the puzzle piece came up, but that doesn't seem to help either.
