Flash Player not working on mac

Question

I'm having similar difficulties. I'm on a Mac OS X. I go round and round. I've installed Flash Player so many times, I can't count. First I get a message Flash Player must be installed. Then check computer and it says it is installed. But I can't find icon in my applications. In my Library it shows "Flash Player.plug in" and "flash player.xpt". I use Safari and not Chrome so I know I can't use Pepper FlashPlayer. Arghhh!

Both Chrome and Safari disable Flash by default and you most likely just need to enable it in the browser. See the following for assistance.
