Flash Player on Mac 10.15.7

I'm getting a pop-up the says:  To use the java command-line tool you meed to install a JDK Java Develment Kit.  A click on "more info" leads me to downloading Flash Player.  It's not happening.  I cannot download it.  Is my Safari blocking it?  If it's not going to be around at the end of the year, can I just continue to ignore the pop-up (as aggravating as it is) and expect it all to go away?

    Direct link it the link to the page that is prompting you to install Flash when you are attempting to download Java JDK.   Safari is the only browser to have dropped full support for Flash Player ahead of Flash Player's end-of-life at the end of 2020.  All other supported browsers will still work.  Note that all browsers do block/disable Flash Player by default and prompt the user to allow/enable Flash when/if the browser detects the content requires Flash.  If you experience issues attempting to use Flash on Chrome, see https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6258784

    Apple dropped support for Flash Player in Safari 14 ahead of Flash Player's end-of-life at the end of 2020. If you've upgraded to Safari 14 (released Sept 2020) you'll need to use one of the other supported browsers:  Google Chrome, Firefox, or Opera.


    Can you provide the direct link to the content that's exhibiting this behaviour?

    Not sure what you mean by direct link.  I'm using Safari when it happens.  Would I be able to go to Google Chrome (I have it) and deal with it there?
