Question

Flash Player on Mac High Sierra 10.13.6

I can't get Adobe Flash Player working on my Mac and I recently deleted it and re-downloaded it to see if that would fix anything yet it still doesn't work on my browsers, Chrome and Safari. I insured that they were both active on those browsers and, it still doesn't seem to want to cooperate. I need to have it for one of my websites for school which requires Chrome. It hasn't shown too much problem because I really didn't need it for some websites until now.

Thanks

Chrome and Safari use two different plugins.

Chrome uses the PPAPI plugin, and Google embeds Flash Player PPAPI in Chrome, so no need to install it.  Google does disable it by default.  See Use or fix Flash audio & video - Computer - Google Chrome Help for assistance.

Safari uses the NPAPI plugin, I'm assuming you have downloaded it and installed it.  If not, using Safari, go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download it and install it.  Like Google, Apple disables Flash Player in Safari.  See Enable Adobe Flash Player for Safari for information on enabling it.  Depending on the type of content you are attempting to view, you may need to remove sandbox restrictions on Safari.  See Remove restrictions on Flash content playing in Safari for assistance.
