Flash Player plug-in for Mac true requirements

On the Download page, there is a pop-up for Step 1 which shows a choice for Mac OS X 10.6 - 10.12 and a only choice of the current release 23. The problem is the technical specifications and system requirements say, OS X 10.9 Mavericks or newer is required. So which is it? My guess is the requirements are in fact 10.9 based on the info.plist in the installer. So what is the last version for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard?

The tech specs are correct and the  drop-down menu is incorrect.  I'll notify the appropriate team to update the text in the drop-down menu.

Support for 10.6 - 10.8 was dropped in 23.0.0.162 (released last month).  While we no longer support 10.6 - 10.8 installation is not blocked on those versions.  Flash Player will still install and most likely function fine.  However, if issues are encountered they will most likely not get fixed unless they also impact a supported version.

Thanks for fixing the pop-up, but the info.plist on the new installer shows it needs 10.9 and thus probably can't be installed under 10.6 to 10.8.

I was able to successfully install on 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8.  Please post back here if you have issues installing on these platforms.  Include the platform and a screenshot of the error, if any.
