Hi,

If you want to host the background update resources locally you'll need to configure your server appropriate to do so.  This information is included in the Flash Player Admin Guide, page 20.

The usage of SilentAutoUpdateServerDomain in the mms.cfg file is only for when you are hosting the resources locally. If you are not hosting the background update resources locally then this parameter is not used.

Hi mate,

Thanks for your prompt response. (Sorry for the 3 threads)

As you know , due to 0 day vulnerability, we want to update flash player

immediately.

The client is domain based and it has configured with WPAD proxy for the

internet connection.

Could you advice whether I need to configure mms.cfg for the auto update or

any suggestion. The user don't have admin rights and don't have time to

deploy through WSUS/SCCM.

If we make it auto deployment through internet will be grateful. Thanks

Regards
