flash player problem in windows 8.1

I am running windows 8.1. When I open BBC Iplayer, it says 'You need to install Flas Player to play ..'. In you tube, I do not experience such thing. Any suggestions? regards.

    hi Ali

    Please right click on the youtube video and check the last item in the context menu that appears.

    I expect, it would mention HTML5. That means, youtube is not using flash player to play the video on that browser.

    You can install flash player for your browser from the below link:
