Flash player question

I have a new Windows 7 Dell computer.  I have Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X and Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin installed. When I go into Facebook and try to open a video clip, it tells me I need to get Adobe Flash Player. When I click on yes, it gives me a complicated answer about Internet Explorer 64 or 32. Sometimes I can open the video clips and sometimes not. I cannot open my own video today that I put on Facebook two days ago. What is wrong?

I figured out how to get the 32 bit internet explorer. I can see all my videos on that. There are three Internet Explorer icons on my computer. One at the top, one as an icon with the others and one on the taskbar. If I click on the one on the taskbar it will be the 32 bit internet explorer. I guess the others are the 64 bit. Thanks for your help.

Glad you figured it out.  I hope things will get easier once the 64-bit Flash Player is released (should work in both 32-bit and 64-bit browsers).

How long will that be? How do I install the other?

I don't know when that will be; maybe this year, maybe next.

Windows 7 comes with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Internet Explorer.  If you install the currently released Flash Player, it will run fine on the 32-bit version.

What is the currently released Flash Player? When I go into Flash Player after it tells me I need to install one, it tells me I can't download because I have 64 bit version.

Yes, I can see the animation. I have 10.0.32.18 installed but it still says it can't install on Internet 64 browser.

Yes, the current release version of Flash Player can only be installed and run on a 32-bit browser.

If you need/want to run it on a 64-bit browser, you can install the 10.2 Flash Player "Square" (beta), or wait until 10.2 is fully released.

Can you see the Flash animation at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ - if so, Flash Player is correctly installed and working.

What is the version information displayed under it?
