Flash Player R22 update freezes Comcast Email

Latest revision up to R22 seems to be freezing Comcast email and generating script unresponsive error. Killing Flash Player in task manager fixes Email freeze immediately until flash player is restarted (probably by ads on Email page).  This is a new occurrence within about two weeks or so. I removed R22 and went back to R21 and problem disappears (but Firefox keeps reporting it as outdated and you have to keep "allowing" it.) The script error is quick but looks like an http:/address with something like adprotect/montrate and a bunch of stuff behind it. Makes working on Email impossible to deal with. I am using WIndows 10, Firefox 47.0 and Comcast web page Email services. Anyone else experiencing new script unresponsive errors with this update?

Please take a look at my Guide for manually updating flash ( link below ); in this case I recommend that you look towards the bottom and for 64 bit browsers. There you will find a link for the 64 bit version of Firefox; download it, uninstall the 32 bit version ( current version) and install the 64 bit version.

All your app data should hold and bookmarks should be fine as well after the re-install as the app data it uses is the same and Uninstalling will not delete that unless you specify or manually delete it.

I think you will be pleased with the performance as the 64 bit version is 99% immune to the 'unresponsive script' issue in the 32bit version. There is also a slim chance it could be corrupt app data or prefetch files causing the issue ; but that is rare, and will address only if need be

Hopefully that will assist you
