Flash Player Settings Frozen/Unresponsive

Hi there, I've done some research on the web and in this forum with no luck on a solution.  I thought I would start the discussion again to see if anyone had a solution.

Currently on a site I've built I use the web cam on launch.  I am noticing 2 issues.

1) Everything works as it should with the exception of Firefox on the Mac.  The settings box appears and then I cannot select any options, tabs or close  the pop up. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling and rebooting to no avail. In some rare cases (appears to be random) the input works but it unresponsive as described in #2.

Firefox: 3.6.2

FP: 10,0,45,2

2) On all other OSes and Browsers, the popup appears but input is unresponsive.  I have to click the accept button 3-4 times before it actually accepts my input.

If anyone can point my in the right direction or provide some insight that would be incredibly helpful.

OS = Snow Leopard 10.6.2

    On Windows this is usually a problem with permissions of the target folder where these settings are kept.  Deleting these folders will resolve the problem

    However, I have no idea where these information are stored on the Mac OS.  Perhaps you can find this in the Flash Player Admin Guide ?

    I found that my preferences for Macromedia were corrupt.

    Everything worked fine on one user account but not on the other. Find the Macromedia Preference folder on the user account that is not working and trash it. Transfer the one from the account that's working and everything should be fine. Probably if you just trash the Macromedia folder it will regenerate the next time you use Flash.
