flash player settings keep getting stuck

I am using the most current version of flash player settings for my mac and firefox.  I right cloicke a window to check the file setting for flash player. I is sat at max but the settings window will not close.

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html.  it's an adobe bug that can be worked around by going to this adobe site and setting file size to max and rebooting program.  the program I had freeze was a neatportal.com window. Any adobe techs you might wanna look at this as it is a common problem over several operation systems, namely all of them.
