First let me mention I am a senior citizen and not technically inclined and also a bit slow. I have followed all of the prompts and get no where installing the update.

We cannot view our emails because the prompt reads flash player is not updated. Please give me an uncomplicated answer and procedure to follow.

Thank you,

Ron

    Dear: M Vargas:

    Information as follows:

    Imac OSX Version: 10.9.5

    Safari Version: 9.1.3 (9537.86.7.8)

    Flash Version: 24.0.0

Went through updates and screen bar says updated

The only problem after doing this Flash drive does not update

    I get no error messages.

Would it be easier to download a new version of Flash starting over?

    Thank you,

    Ron

Honestly, Safari continues to aggressively make it more difficult to use Flash.  The path of least resistance would be to switch to another browser, like Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/).

That said, the following directions may help you get Flash going in the context of Safari, but just be aware that each subsequent OS update seems to require jumping through additional hoops to keep Flash enabled.  We try to keep this page updated as new Safari requirements emerge.
