Flash Player using too much memory on chrome
Hello,
I have the latest flash player (11,5,31,2) running on google chrome in my windows 7 os.
The problem is - it sometimes eats up huge huge amounts of my RAM and it becomes a real problem to operate my system as I only have 3GB and it sometimes uses 700MB all by itself.
Upon noticing this problem for several times I ran an experiment and that's what I've found:
I started with what I already have (yes, I know there are too many tabs, but I like it this way and the usage of flash is still too big) and tried closing some tabs which, I thought, might be using flash.

I tried to close one facebook tab and you'll later see why.

It was a success, as the usage went down by almost 400 MB.

Then I reopened the same tab and did what I've done with it before - as one of my friends always posts music I like on her wall, I sometimes open her fb and listen to every youtube video she posted. But it seems that after the video has finished playing, the memory usage only accumulates when you start another video.
Well, I know this might not be a very serious problem as it's easy to solve by simply refreshing tabs, but it still puts a limit on how many videos you can run on one tab (and usually you can find plenty of those in just one facebook or blog page), even if you watch them one by one.
I hope it will be considered in future updates.
