Flash Player Wants to Store Information on my Computer

I keep getting a rectangle in the middle of the active window saying:

Why does Flash Player want space on my computer? I'm running Windows Pro, I think my flash version is 15.009.20071.

It doesn't make any difference which button I click on, nothing happens and I can't dismiss this box at all...nothing will allow me to see the content behind the box and the rest of that active window is darkened, but not blacked out.

Thanks much. It's Flash 19.0.0.226 and/or Shockwave Flash 19.0 r0. I sure didn't know they were the same thing.

Shockwave is always allowed and it's up to date.

So, I know a little more about the request. But it won't allow me to either refuse or accept the request for more space. It does not make any difference which one I click on, nothing happens and I can't get to the active window behind the request.

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/help06.html

And on this page

https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

you can check what version of Flash Player you have installed on your system.
