tile says it all. I was using a Cogeco Cable systems antivirus program that uninstalled Flash player on windows 10 with the company installed browser and it has turned into a severe headache trying to get it reinstalled. not using the edge browser.

You'll want to download Flash Player from the browser that you actually want to use.

Flash Player is a built-in component of Internet Explorer and Edge.  If your antivirus managed to uninstall those, that's more complicated, as they're not directly installable and we don't distribute installers for them.  ]

If that's what happened, I generally have good luck with removing and replacing  the last update for Flash Player that you can find under Settings > System > Apps and Features.  Once removed, reboot and then run Windows Update again to reinstall.

If that doesn't work, the Windows System File Checker, might sort it out:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026529/windows-10-using-system-file-checker

For Google Chrome, Flash Player is also built in, so removing and reinstalling Chrome might be the easiest solution.

For other browsers, simply go here, and we'll give you the appropriate installer for the browser you're using:

    https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

If that's not working, you might uninstall Flash Player first, in case the antivirus product left things in bad state:

    Uninstall Flash Player - Windows:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

If none of that helps, installer logs would give us a good idea about what's failing.

Instructions are in the troubleshooting guide below:

See my reply above.  Flash Player is built-in to Internet Explorer on Windows 10.   You can try removing and reinstalling the last Windows Update that affected Flash and/or Internet Explorer.
