Flash Player will not install under macOS Sierra 10.12. Tried Chrome and Safari Version 10.0.

Flash Player app does seem to install and says it is done but Flash Player is not in the Applications folder, only and alias.

    There are 2 Library directories: /Library and /Users/YourUserID/Library.  Which one did you check?  If installation completely successfully without error FlashPlayer.plugin will exist in /Library/Internet Plug-ins (not the /users/UserID/Library).

    Did you check to see if Flash Player is enabled in the browser?

    Flash Player is a browser plugin, not an Application and therefore does not install to the Applications folder.  It installs to the /Library Internet Plug-ins folder.

    I'm going to make several assumptions here since you don't describe the behaviour observed when installing Flash Player or attempting to view Flash content I'm going to assume Flash Player installed without error.

    On Safari: if Flash content is not displaying, Flash Player is most likely disabled as Apple disables all plugins by default in Safari 10.  See Enable Adobe Flash Player for Safari  for information on enabling Flash Player in Safari.

    Not sure what you mean by "Tried Chrome and Safari Version 10.0" as Chrome and Safari use two different plugins, and Google embeds Flash Player in Chrome.  If you're also having problem in Chrome, please describe the observed behaviour.

    I just looked in the Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder and all that is there are:

      Google Earth Web Plug-In.plugin

      WebEx64.plugin

    I mentioned 2 browsers because I had tried to install Flashplayer under the different browsers, but only one at a time, of course.  I verified that the other was disabled.

    I just upgraded to Sierra on my late-2009 iMac 27 and this was the first time I tried to view one of my classes in Craftsy.  I finally went to Settings in Craftsy and clicked on let Craftsy choose the viewer.  That worked under Safari (haven’t tried Chrome yet) but I don’t know which view it chose unless it is HTML5.  The only other choice is Flash.

    The Flash Installer goes all the way to 100% and the Done button appears.  All apps and the browser were turned off before starting Install. Where did FlashPlayer go if not to the Folder you suggested?

    BTW I had switched to Chrome under El Capitan because Safari started locking up when left idle for a while.
