Flash Player will not play any sound

Question

On my widows 10 computer flash player will not play sound in google chrome it does however play sound in Microsoft edge but i prefer chrome. It will play videos and games just fine but for some reason its just the audio it wont play it mostly frustrating on you tube because its boring to have to read sub titles. I have also read other posts with this problem none were helpful. if any one can provide a solution it would be very much appreciated.

As the OP indicates, YouTube no longer uses Flash for videos and uses HTML5 video. To verify, right-click on the content to display the context menu.
