Flash Player will not register, even after doing a successful uninstall of the previous version. What is the work around?

If Ravi's suggestion does not work, and assuming that you are on Windows, try http://forums.adobe.com/thread/987370

Trt downloading the MSI installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html then right-click on it and select Run as Administrator
