Certain websites require Flash Player be installed to view their sites. I have repeatedly installed the Flash player to no avail. I have uninstalled the previous version via http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157 and have installed the flash player frome here: http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer . No matter what I do, it still will not work. I am running Windows XP home edition. HELP!!!

What I think is funny, is the Adobe FlashPlayer support people keep saying this is a Microsoft problem that they are willing to help fix?! I believe computer programming 101 should be that you make your software work within the environment given...not that the environment has to change so your programs can run! And my environment is Windows XP Home edition with Internet explorer and if my register or any other settings have to change to accomodate your programs, then your programs should change whatever it needs to...not me having to become a computer programmer to get your program to run on my machine! Obviously, there are many of us, all running the same software that can't get your program to run...And why again is this a Microsoft issue?

Please add me to the list!!! We are having similar issues. I've loaded and reloaded Adobe Flash on my Windows XP system, yet on some sites I am unable to view needed functions. I am told "You need to upgrade your flash player". On others everything seems to function just fine!! It's so completely confounding and frustrating. Any advice or counsel would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Kim

I also have XP Home edition and did exactly as directed and as 1st poster....Why is this sooooooo hard?!!! This is a part of an awfully big company to have such awful programs without being able to write a simple fix for us to click and install. Why is this so difficult? I am not a programmer but a user of XP. I am wondering why people actually buy software from this company.

So it is with me. And I have installed repeatedly, besides that I have lauched its related tools to allow its running, while it still could not work.
