I have been baning my head trying to get Flash to work correctly on IE10 for Windows 7/64. It will install, and the site says that I have the correct/up to date version, but I still receive the "You need to have Adobe Flash installed to play this video" error when visiting sites.I have tried installing the latest version to no avail.I have folowed the instructions to do a full uninstall/reinstall.I have followed the instructions here to ensure the Active X filtering is not turned on and the plug in is acctive.I do notice that on the page that verifies your version number, in the verification box, my browser says "none". Not sure if that means anything.Chrome works just fine. The issue is only with IE.Thanks for the assistance...

Chrome works just fine. The issue is only with IE.

Are you sure you're using IE 10 and not IE 11?

Ugh...sorry, you're correct. I do have IE 11. I did a quick search and see that there have been some issues with 11...is there a current solution?

First, try adding the Web site to the compatibility view for IE. Here's a doc that describes that process:

If that does not help, the only other recommendations I can make at this time would be to downgrade your version to IE 10 or temporarily switch to an alternative browser.

Ultimately, the problem here is that the web content you are trying to view is unable to detect Flash because of assumptions in their html/javascript code that are no longer true with IE 11. The proper fix would be for the content provided to make changes on their Web site but that takes time.
