Flash Player will not work or download in MAC OS 10.6.7

For the past week I have been having problems getting

Flash Player downloaded and installed on my Mac.  When i am on

a website it tells me that I need to download Flash Player greater then 10.0.0. When I click on the link It brings to me to the download screen. From there everything is cool, I am able to download but still can view the videos and getting same message that I need to update my Flash Player.

I have tried this several times and talked to Apple Tech Support, they weren't much help either and directed me to Adobe but they want $39 to talk to me about this problem which they should be supporting since it is there product.

So any help that can be offered would be greatly appriecated.

    Hi,

I'm sorry you're running into this problem.  Could you try first uninstalling Flash Player, then download the current version directly and try again?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Chris,

I went to watch a tutorial on Adobe TV. It said I needed the newest version. I downloaded and installed. Get the same message. I un-installed and re-installed, no change. What do I do now? It appears on other sites, flash is working.

Ok, I actually went into a "Apple store and had them look at my iMac. They

were stumped, until another customer overheard our conversation.

    1. If you are running Safari need to download another browswer

    2. We downloaded Firefox (flashplayer worked)

    3. Uninstall Safari (make sure you remove everything, every file, in

programs, properties anywhere you can find it delete it.

    4. Download Flash Player

    5. Download Safari

    It should work..

    Good Luck
