Flash player won't complete installation

I am being prompted to install Flash Player. I click "get latest version," "install now," I find the "download folder and locate the Adobe Flash Player" installation file and click it. A window appears and I click on "install Adobe Flash Player" and nothing happens. I have done this multiple times, have closed Safari, etc, but I can't get beyond this. Please help.

    This is happening with my computer also.  I think it could have something to do with the fact that my computer was hacked after I clicked install latest flash player in a window that popped up.  It downloaded MacKeeper software as well.... anyway, it was all a scam.

    Latest version of flash player won't finish installation and I am unable to view any flash content.

    Looking for the solution.  Any help would be appreciated.

    We're looking into this problem.  In the meantime, could you try this installer to see if it makes a difference?
