Flash player won't continue to install.

I have Internet Explorer and was told to enable it.  Well, it was already enabled before, and it still won't continue to install.  So what do I do, and how do I install it if I have to close Internet Explorer?  I never have had this problem before.

    What is the exact behaviour when you attempt to install?

    Is there an error message? If so, please provide a screenshot of the error
