Question

Flash Player won't play picture

I had a mistaken topic in this forum until a few minutes ago where I mis-remembered the problem.  Sorry to all.  If you saw the earlier question, this one replaces it:

I have Windows 10, using latest Chrome browser, latest Flash Player.  When I play a video in, for example, the Xfinity home page, everything looks normal, with sound and a time bar at the bottom but there is no picture.  I have been thinking and searching for help on this (including the Flash Player Settings Manager) since yesterday afternoon -- it feels like I'm missing something obvious that someone here might know -- any ideas anyone?

I just played a video in Google's home page, and IT WORKED FINE.  ??  A problem in Comcast's home page?  I will now call Comcast tech support.

More info -- looks like other websites play video fine under Chrome; Edge browser also plays video fine.  The only combination that seems to be a problem is Chrome/Comcast home page.  Comcast support has promised to call me back in 24 to 48 hours. Will update this as needed.  I do have the Flash Player plugin for Chrome disabled per recommendations.

If you've disabled Flash Player in Chrome, then it's not going to work if you try to use it to play video.  If you would like it to actually do anything, you'll need to enable it.
