flash player wont install

I think im havin the same problem alot of pepole are havin, ive uninstalled flashplayer and run the reset_min thing but every time i go to install i get the same 'the installer failed or was cancelled' and to retry but it nether works. any help would be welcome?

    Could you be more specific about the error message? If you had a screen shot to post somewhere that would be even better..

    Also what OS is this?

    no im running windows xp and im at my wits end ive tryed everything?

    if it is a mac g5 - I went back and installed version 8 and that worked.
