Cant play that.

But no problem playing youtube vids.

I have installed, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash player and those vids wont play.

What can cause those not to play not just in IE8, but Firefox and Chrome?

But this link works

Hi, The oddnews link played ok for me(XP/SP3). I don't have Win7 so can't test on that. However under the Help section is this you may want to review: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/news/technical/;_ylt=AsvmX6X1dZvvFvUS.tVvfw9.FiR4

Now I have hardware acceleration ON and the latest vs of FP as well. I did notice that when right clicking on the above video when it was playing that I could choose low/medium/high. I had it on high and didn't have any audio or video issues.

Some Yahoo videos just have a problem. I'd search that Help section and if that doesn't help, contact Yahoo. You never know how the video that doesn't play is coded so that's what I think. If it won't play on any browser, then it's probably the video.

Youtube is a good indicator and that's what I'd go by.

Be careful roaming around without your Firewall on, too many bad guys out there! Just looking for an opening.

    Thanks,
