Flash Player wont work

My computer was recently hacked and i had to use recovery discs to rebood my hard drive and now i cannot get my adobeflashplayer to work so i can play games on facebook. But my computer sayts its working but when i go to my game on facebookit tells me to update the flash player. WHY?
