    Flash Players version: WIN 10,2,159,1

    Hello,

I have a strange problem, which is also on IE, Firefox and Google Chrome on my laptop HP Probook 4710s.

The videos on youtube are working, but on every other site than for example web.de, ard.de, prosieben.de, etc. are not working. The flash screen is black, by right clicking on this I see, that I can go on settings for flash player.

Before updating the flash player to this new version everything was okay - can you please help? I did not found anything helpfull via google.

    Thanks.

    Philipp

I think I have found the solution to this.  On the Global Storage Settings tabl of Flash Player Global Settings (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html) I checked off the box "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer."

This seems to have done the trick.

      Hello,

      Welcome to Adobe Forums,

I tested your websites (rd.de, prosieben.de) on my computer, they worked fine !!

I have Flash 10.2.154.18, so if you want you can install that version.

First, uninstall the current version of Flash Player from this uninstaller :

      http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash _player.exe

Installer Flash Player from these installers :

      http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash _player_ax.exe

      http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash _player.exe

Note : Download both of them and save on Desktop, make sure IE or any other application is not open, install both of them

Let me know if it helps !!

      Thanks

      Hello,

this does not work. I did as mentioned.

When I go on this page http://web.de/magazine/sport/fussball/sonstiges/12677132-kicker-knirps-bei-profiklub.html#.A1000107

and do a right click on the black field, I can read:

      "About Adobe Flash Player 10.2.159.1"

Is there a problem when I have installed IE, Firefox and google Chrome on my laptop? I had not this problem a few weeks ago.

      Thanks

I have been having the same problem, or something similar.  You Tube works fine.  Other flash games and movies appear to load, at least partially, but then fail to progress.  For example, videos may show a moving loading icon, which eventually dissapears and eventually just leaves an empty black box.  Or a game may display an introduction screen and play some music, but fail to respond to anything else (they don't appear to hang, they just fail to do anything further).

I have noticed that usually if I copy the swf location directly from the flash object and browse to it directly (e.g. http://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0003/9575/live/tilt.swf?kongregate_game_version=1237158514), the games and videos do work.

This happens on FF, Chrome, and IE.

Any thoughts? I will try this suggestion of installing an earlier version and report back.
