    Hi demetriusp1254,

You most likely have a copy of the NPSWF32_12_0_0_77.dll file somewhere on your system and Firefox is loading that version instead of the latest version.  Flash Player installs to the following locations:

    • 32-bit OS: C:/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash
    • 64-bit OS: C:/Windows/System32/Macromed/Flash and C:/Windows/SysWOW64/Macromed/Flash

If you see NPSWF32_12_0_0_77.dll in one of these directories for some reason the installer/uninstaller is not removing it and you should be able to manually delete it and then Firefox will load the newly installed version.  If it's not there, you'll need to find the path to the DLL that Firefox is using. See About:plugins - MozillaZine Knowledge Base‌ for instructions on finding the full path the an installed plugin. Once you obtain the full path, navigate to the location and delete the old DLL file.  Firefox should then load the newly installed version.

That's definitely an older version (we're at 17 now).  Can you visit, download and install our latest player from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer and see if that bumps you up to 17.0.0.188?

    HI demetriusp1254,

What directory path was it in and are there other Flash Player related files in there?

Yes, you should be able to delete it and Firefox should load the new file from the \Macromed\Flash directory I posted previously.
