Flash Players penetration

Question

as a flash developer, it is important to me and to my
customers to know flash player 9 version penetration.
last statistics is from march and it stands on average of
82%.
I would like to move to AS3 but before I do that I must know
that the penetration is above 95%.

does somebody have updated information ?

I would be very surprised if the average isn't above 90% by now. Why is 95% such a special percentage though, most of the developers I know have already moved over to AS3, including some of the big development studios.

If everyone was the same and waited for X% version penetration then we would all be waiting indefinitely. Developers should push new player versions, especially a version update as important as FP9, not sit on their hands waiting.

There really is no reason why you shouldn't start developing with AS3 now. :-)
