Flash problem w/Chrome some of us are having (OS X) may be an Apple problem w/2nd display/monitor

My problem, which developed in last couple days, of Google Chrome freezing / not working on pages with Flash player, but Flash player working just fine in Safari and Firefox, on OS X, goes away when I disconnect 2nd monitor. Unplugging my external monitor made the problem disappear on my laptop (2011 Macbook Pro). Now, if I open a new Flash-included page with my external monitor connected, the page still freezes. But if I disconnect the 2nd screen until the page and Flash are ready to go on just the laptop, I can plug the external monitor back in and then the page will continue to work.
