Flash problems in windows 10

I am having trouble with playing content with I-player with the message coming up as flash player not installed. I have recently upgraded to windows 10, this was not a problem in windows 8. I am the administrator on our family computer and have no problems in my account but all other family members do. When following adobes trouble shooting it indicates that flash is disabled but in settings it is clearly enabled. Have also followed adobe advice in safety about active x controls. Any ideas please?
