Flash technology?

When trying to view a DVD I get the error message "To view the Flash technology content in this PDf file, please install the required version of Flash Player" but it does not give me an install or update option. What are they talking about?

If the PDF contains Flash content, it needs the Flash Player NPAPI plugin to view it.  Do the following:

  1. Navigate to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions
  2. In Step 1, select your operating system
  3. In Step 2, select the Flash Player version for Firefox / NPAPI plugin
    • Depending on the os/browser combination there may be an optional third party software offer.  Uncheck the offer if you do not want to install the optional software
  4. Click Download button in lower left.
  5. Make note of the Download folder location
  6. After download completes, navigate to the folder the file was saved to and double-click on the file to launch the installer
  7. Proceed with the on-screen prompts to install Flash Player NPAPI plugin.
