FLASH uninstalls and installation zip file self-deletes.

Numerous reports of trouble with Flash and the software uninstalling under various circumstances. I noticed the occurance is os, device/machine, and browser independent.

This observation eliminates the user side of the equation and places the "fix" to Adobe who is NOT addressing this issue within the forums.

Is there a malware targetting Flash installs? Known conflict?

At least acknowledge the numerous reports of an issue and update with a "fix".

Currently, I placed the install on my desktop for easy access to re-install (several times a day).

I'm not familiar with the issue you're describing, but it sounds bad.

First things first, some details about your system would be helpful.

1.) What OS and Version are you running

2.) What Browser are you running

3.) What symptoms are you seeing that lead you to believe Flash has been uninstalled?  (In particular, I'm curious to know if the files actually disappear.  I can tell you where to look once I know the OS.)

4.) Are you an Administrator on the machine, or a regular user? Are you on a corporate network?

5.) What antivirus and antimalware software do you have on your system?

6.) Did you download the installer directly from Adobe?
