Flash update 24.0.0.186 seems to have broken DRM on Linux
Currently running 24.0.0.189 on Lubuntu 14.04 32-bit
Protected videos have stopped loading since yesterday, right after I did a system update, and which no doubt pulled in the latest Flash 24.0.0.186 version released earlier this week. It seems the upgrade to this version has broken something.
I have tried upgrading to 24.0.0.189 beta but it makes no difference.
Also followed the troubleshooting (delete cache\reinstall etc) at https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/protected-video-content-play.html but it was no help.
The DRM test page stops with the dialogue "Loading Flash Access License" and a loading animation which spins forever.
Interestingly, the "DRM events" lists:
authenticationMethod = null
ServerURL = null
license ID = null
Not really sure what has happened here.
