Question

Flash update

I'm using Windows 7, and I use 3 different browsers (Chrome, regularly- but also have Firefox and IE). I keep getting a pop-up saying I need to update Flash, but I have checked and all 3 seem to be up to date. On all 3, the tree-and-clouds animation indicates Flash is properly installed and working correctly- but still I get the pop-up message, every week. What is the problem, if any, and what do I do about it?

Hi michellemct124

Please do the following:

  1. Launch Control Panel
  2. Select to view by Small icons (if not already selected)
  3. Open the Flash Player item (if this is a 64-bit OS, it'll be named 'Flash Player (32-bit)')
  4. When Flash Player Settings Manager opens, go to the Updates tab
  5. Take, and post, a screenshot of the Settings Manager > Updates tab.  See How do I attach a screenshot?

Thank you.
