Flash version 30.0.0.108 doesn't uninstall

I am running Windows 10 Home 32-bit version 1703. Installing Flash version 30.0.0122 seems to work, but Belarc Adviser still finds Flash 30.0.0108 installed in addition,

I have tried uninstalling Flash  using both the PC Settings App and Flash uninstall to no avail.

On a different computer, running Windows 10 Home 32-bit version 1809, installing version 30.0.0.122 did uninstall version 30.0.0.108

Windows 10 Home 32-bit version

Versions later than 1703 are missing drivers on my computer.

What browser are you installing Flash Player for?

<edit>
If you haven't rebooted the problematic system yet, please try that.

Knowing which Flash Player you're attempting to upgrade (there are various, for the various browsers) will determine subsequent troubleshooting steps.

Versions later than 1703 are missing drivers on my computer.

Not sure what you mean by including this, or its relevancy to the Flash Player issue you're reporting.

I am using Firefox 62.0.3. I have another computer running Windows 10 Home and Firefox 62.0.3 but it is running version 1809. When Iinstalled Flash 130.0.0122 on it, 130.0.0.108 uninstalled. Therefore I believe the problem to be related to the Windows version.

If Firefox was using the plugin when you upgraded the previous plugin was marked for deletion upon reboot.  If you haven't rebooted the system, please do so.

If, after rebooting the system, Firefox is still loading the previous version, perform a clean installation:

  1. Download the current uninstaller: Uninstaller for Windows
  2. Download Flash Player from Adobe Flash Player Install for all versions
    • Select the OS and browser you want to install Flash Player for
    • Note the optional third party offers available on the download page.
  3. Close all browser windows, and any other application that may use Flash Player (e.g. instant messaging clients, etc)
  4. Run the uninstaller downloaded in step 1
  5. Restart Windows.
  6. Launch File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
  7. Look for any of the following files:
    • FlashUtil64_[VersionNumber]_Plugin.dll
    • FlashUtil64_[VersionNumber_Plugin.exe
    • NPSWF64_[VersionNubmer].dll
  8. If any of these 3 files are present, delete them.
  9. Still in File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
  10. Look for the following files:
    • FlashUtil32[VersionNumber]_Plugin.dll
    • FlashUtil32_[VersionNumber_Plugin.exe
    • NPSWF32_[VersionNubmer].dll
    • FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe
  11. If any of these 3 files are present delete them.
  12. Reboot the computer again
  13. All files associated with the previously installed Flash Player NPAPI plugin should be removed from the system.
  14. Make sure all browsers and any applications that may use Flash Player are closed.
  15. Install Flash Player NPAPI plugin downloaded in step 2
