Flash will not install

System: Mac OS 10.9.5

I cannot get Flash 25 to install on

Safari 9.1.3

and

Firefox 53.0

I have Flash 21.0.0 installed now.

This happens over and over for months and months with each new upgrade from Flash. I've gone through

all the "installation problems/flash player/mac" with no success.

Here's a link to info that Adobe suggested I provide.

I would really like to solve this Flash loading problem. Any constructive help would be appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi,

The installation is failing due to a known bug, that we are fixing in a future release of Flash Player.  In the interim, please use the offline installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Mac page, in the 'Still having problems' section.

<edit> Thank you for providing the log files up-front.  It helped to immediately identify the issue.

    Thanks, Maria,

    Downloaded the installer you suggested.

Worked great. Installed Safari and Firefox without any problems.
