Flash will not work on two sites ONLY in Firefox or IE

I have downloaded, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash Player again and again.  I have the newest version from Adobe, and have used the Adobe Flash uninstall program.  The thing is, I can play flash videos and animations through Firefox and IE on all but two sites.  Here are the sites, and the problems.  ESPN.COM.  The Flash animations in the banners work fine, but the videos will freeze at the picture, the sound will play, but no video or control bar.  If I right click on settings, the Flash settings will pop up, but the window will be frozen also.  I can't make any changes, or close the Flash settings box.  On IGN.COM, again, the banners work fine, but when I try to play a video, I get neither sound nor picture.  I just get a black box where the video should show up.  I am running Vista Home Premium.  The funny thing is, at my wife's work, I used her computer which has an older version of Flash Player, and both these sites worked fine.  Any help you could give me on this would be appreciated.  Thanks.

    The two odd things are, first, the videos played fine a couple of days ago, second, especially odd is on IGN.COM, for the page to play videos, the video will not play, but right next to the video is a space where advertisements are played in Flash, and they will load fine while the video will not.
