Flash9f

Question

I have an HP multipurpose printer/scanner/etc.  After the last couple of updates for Flash I have received an error stating c:\windows\system32\macromed\flash\flash9f.ocx failed to register. I spent a lot of time messing around and finally fixed it, but don't remember how and now with the 10.1 or 10.2 that just updated it has done it again!  How can I fix this?

Try the following:download the FP uninstaller from http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html (save to disk);download the FP installer http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe (saveto disk);close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstaller;restart Windows;open C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash and delete any remaining files in there;run the downloaded installer.
