FlashPlayer 10. I need some help with no sound

Hello. I have Adobe Flashplayer 10 and I am not able to hear sound when I visit websites lke Youtube. I see the video just fine but there is no sound at all. Although sound does work in other programs such as Windows Media Player. Any advice? Thanks

    I did have sound from all speakers not long ago but now sound is limited to the main/front outs.  Using realtek alc888.  As usual enabling environment effects/echo makes sound come from all other speakers but I have never liked any of the effects/echo.  Usually have at least three sets of speakers hooked up at all times and they all work with other applications as they used to all work with flash???

    This happens in both firefox and IE7.

    My main front outs are hooked up to the "big stereo" which are not on all the time and would really like to get sound from the side and rear speakers again.

    This may be a windows update problem too but I am not sure???
